What should I bring for a fly fishing trip?
Pack comfortable outdoor clothing, including a waterproof rain jacket and warm thermal base layers (socks and underwear), as alpine rivers stay cold year-round. Don’t forget a hat, polarized sunglasses, and sunscreen. We provide all essential tackle and rental gear, but you are always welcome to bring your favorite personal setup.
Are fishing permits required?
Yes. We gladly assist with securing all required permits ahead of time. Please inform us before your arrival so we can have your licenses fully prepared.
Can I bring my family along?
Absolutely! Introducing young anglers to the water is one of our favorite things to do. We select family-oriented locations that offer easy walking access and maximum safety. To ensure everyone stays comfortable, please notify us of your group’s details and gear sizes (waders and boots) ahead of time so we can have everything ready.
Which fish species can I catch in Italy?
North Italy rivers are world-famous for their incredible biodiversity. You can target the iconic Marble Trout, Grayling, Brown Trout, and Rainbow Trout. All our trips focus strictly on wild fish in their natural habitat.

We’ve got you covered! We provide high-end rods, reels, and waders so you can travel hassle-free. Just let us know your height, weight, and shoe size when you book, and we will make sure everything is prepped and perfectly sized for your day on the water.
Are there specific hook and fly rules?
To protect our pristine ecosystem and ensure fish health, all local regulations require the use of a single fly fitted with a barbless hook. We’re happy to supply the most effective local patterns, perfectly tailored to the river conditions and the hatch of the day.
What is our policy on keeping fish?
All our trips are strictly Catch & Release. Protecting the wild, native species of these rivers—especially the endangered Marble Trout—is essential to how we guide. We take great care in handling every fish safely so they can stay healthy and continue to thrive in their natural habitat.
When is the best time to visit for a fishing trip?
The general season runs from March to November. Spring (March–April) is prime for targeting large trout, while June and September bring peak dry fly hatches. October is the golden month for trophy Grayling.
